It's in the way we make our scented candles.
All of our scented candles are individually hand poured. We use NO machinery in the making any of our highly scented candles. This ensures the perfect wick placement and the right fragrance concentration. This may cost a little more, but this old fashioned method is what makes our scented candles better.

Just as important is what we use to make our scented candles.
We use only the Finest Quality Waxes and Fragrances on the market. When you put the two together you end up with an even, clean burning, quality scented candle.

Silver City Candle Uses NO Chemical Additives that can cause allergic like reactions (headaches, watery eyes, sneezing). This makes our scented candles about 15 -25% longer burning than our competition. Additionally, we use only all natural wicks (No Lead Core Wick like some of our competitors, all scented candles are 100% lead free).

Please know that I have been purchasing scented candles for a LONG time now (I have been bedridden for about 6 years), and I am well-versed in candle info, use, etc. I have purchased from multiple companies over the years and have spent more money than I need to think about, at present (in general, I spend about $500-600.00 per month on scented candles. well, if you can't go out to dinner or the movies.... :) )-- but I must say that your candles are some of the very best I have ever used! They burn so evenly and they smell as good as you advertise. I have found many scented candles to be rather bland and weak, despite advertisements to the contrary. Yours are truly potent but, at the same time, not overpowering (some candles are so "intense" they leave me with a headache, as opposed to a good atmosphere). Hello Steve, Actually, I bought some scented candles from you in December, 2005 when you displayed at the "jingle bell mingle" in Glastonbury. They are great, and have held their scent for a whole year...and I never burned them....occasionally I would put the lid on and turn them upside down for a day or two, and the scent would come back stronger.......
